Founded by Russ Fiorella in Kansas City in 1957, Jack Stack began as a traditional storefront barbecue stand before evolving and growing to its six KC area restaurants, specialty catering, and nationwide shipping services. Family-owned and operated for four generations, they separate themselves from the competition by cooking gourmet meats over hickory wood and operate the largest wood-fired cooker in the United States.
